Ellis names roster for World Cup qualifying match
The U.S. ladies’s nationwide group has named a 20-player roster for the upcoming CONCACAF championship, which serves as qualifying for subsequent 12 months’s World Cup in France.
This would be the fourth qualifying match for Carli Lloyd, who scored a hat trick within the group’s victory over Japan within the 2015 World Cup closing. She is amongst 11 gamers on the present roster who have been on the group that received the title.
The highest three finishers in subsequent month’s match earn the confederation’s berths on the 2019 World Cup. A fourth group will go to a playoff for a spot.
